This policy covers personal data collected through this website. If you are a client of Legge Digital and want to know how data from your website's assistant is handled, that is governed by the separate Data Processing Agreement you signed, not by this page.

I am the data controller for the information described below. There is no team — enquiries are read by me.

What I collect, and why

No tracking, no analytics, no cookies. This site does not set cookies, does not use Google Analytics, and does not have social media pixels or advertising trackers on it. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you have not been shown a banner.

Who else sees it

As few people as possible. Currently:

The form provider that delivers contact form submissions to my inbox
My email provider, which stores the correspondence
My hosting provider, which serves this website
My payment provider, if you become a paying client
HMRC, where the law requires it

I do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list. If you email me once, you will not start receiving a newsletter.

Where it goes

Some providers above are based outside the UK. Where that is the case, the transfer relies on the UK's adequacy regulations or on standard contractual clauses with the UK Addendum, as provided in those companies' terms.

How long I keep it

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask me to:

Give you a copy of the personal data I hold about you
Correct anything inaccurate
Delete it, where I have no overriding reason to keep it
Restrict or object to how I am using it
Provide it in a portable format

Email chris@leggedigital.co.uk and I will respond within one month, usually much sooner. There is no charge, and you do not need to give a reason.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data, please tell me first — it is usually a misunderstanding I can fix the same day. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. You do not have to come to me first.

Changes

If this policy changes materially I will update the date at the top. I do not keep a version history, so if the specifics matter to you, save a copy.
